Last Raws Post

Ahhhh… I know I said that I would get another chapter of Meruhen-chan out but I just haven’t had time >_< Who would have thought moving countries was so time consuming lol. However I will start releasing more Meruhen-chan, Hatsukoi Lunch Box and Jigoku Shoujo R when things gets settled. I think Hatsukoi Lunch Box will only run for a couple of volumes (but maybe 5 who knows!?) so I think that will be wrapped up soon. Heart’s Knight will have to wait (Don’t like starting something new when I have such a backlog >_>) but Hatsukoi Lunch Box and Meruhen-chan is my priority. And recently Meruhen-chan has been so good *w*

I do have some raws for you though, this was originally going to be two parts, but in the end I did it all at once~

Let me address some repeatedly asked questions as well:

- Will you be adding more Clover no Kuni no Alice raws?

Maybe. Probably. But not in any hurry.

- When will you add the next part of the Yumeiro Patissiere cookbook?
I don’t know… at the moment I can’t look/plan that far ahead. But I definitely will finish it.

- I can’t find the password!

Look in the comments THOROUGHLY. The password may have been added on at a later date.

So this is the last ever raw post on cookie.Dough. It’s been a fun year and a bit providing raws for the public, but I think it’s time to step down. I will still be scanlating though! But I think after the series I am working on have finished I won’t pick up anymore (She says….)

I will also be setting up a new blog for manga news (nakayoshi, ribon, probably a few more… really want to try Aria!), summaries, probably scanlated previews, deco-den, cute things and general life in Japan c: Please keep checking this blog for the address!

Yumeiro Patissiere Cook Book – Part 1 + Updates

So, to stop myself going insane (there’s only so many times you can read the word ‘クリーム’) I have divided the book up into 3 parts; well, 2 and a bit parts more like. Here’s the first part…..

Even though I have read it through so many times, the transcript for this first part is over 6000 words long, so if you spot any typos please tell me!  It ended up taking a lot longer than I thought as I was away in London for a lot of weekends this month =u=

Some Notes!

- I have tried making a couple of recipes out of this now, and they all work, but I had some failures (so try not to repeat my mistakes)

For the 2-tier Strawberry shortcake:

- Don’t add too much honey (it will make it rubbery and dumpling like)

- Don’t over beat the flour when folding it in – it really only needs to be stirred in a little.

- DO whisk the egg whites and yolks separately. It says optional but I don’t think you can get enough air into it otherwise. The whites need to be like peaks, and should probably be added last.

The second part will cover up to the Custard Pudding, and should be ready in May September sometime.

This month’s Nakayoshi/Ribon raws will be a little bit sporadic and all over the place, as I’m trying to scan some tankouban at the same time.

Also, this month was the last chapter of Doki Doki! Tama-tan; volume 3 (the last volume) will come out at the end of the month. So I’ll probably do a post finishing up volume 2, and then a whole volume 3 post.

Hatsukoi Lunch box Post should be up by the end of the week, and if anyone is interested in cleaning (please ;_;) there will be a two week deadline this time~

Meruhen-chan chapter 7 should be out within the next two weeks, and I’m working on Heart’s Knight this week (in between scanning orz) And next month Meruhen-chan is taking a break in Nakayoshi~

Hatsukoi Lunch Box Chapter 4!
As mentioned in the chapter, there was no Hatsukoi Lunch Box in this month’s Nakayoshi (Issue 4) (because Kodaka Nao was working on Disney’s Princess and the Frog comic) But it will be back in April.

Ah, finally released another chapter of Jigoku Shoujo R. I was hoping to make it a double release this weekend but I’m still waiting on some pages of Hatsukoi Lunch Box ^^;

Next week will be the Shugo Chara special (it’s only a few pages so it won’t take long) and then since there’s no Hatsukoi Lunch Box this month I’m hoping to make some serious progress on the Yumeiro Patissiere cookbook (and maybe another chapter of Jigoku Shoujo R)

Also, I completely caved into fangirlism and ordered 5 volumes  of the Clover no Kuni no Alice manga/doujinshi. If I don’t scanlate it, then I will at the very least post raws.

Might try and think of something for White Day too >.< !!

Hatsukoi Lunch Box Chapter 4 Scanlation Post

Edit: Just another quick note! Hatsukoi Lunch Box is taking a break in March (just read in Nakayoshi) and so this is the last chapter til April c:


Anyway, here is the copypasta bit….

So…. (for anyone who hasn’t visited before) Below are some zip files each containing 5ish pages of Hatsukoi Lunch Box, since some people were interested, I’ve posted them up for anyone that wants to try have a go at cleaning!

Some things:
☆ All pages have been rotated and cropped, so you don’t need to do that.

Below is a download for the Yumeiro Patissiere cook book, I think it will probably be one of many, but for now it covers a few of the recipes featured in the series plus a few extra.

Ah…. it will probably take me some time to translate and edit this, so it’s just the raws for now. It should be fairly simple to follow since there are very good pictures (and use jisho.org). And, if in doubt, check a similar recipe =o=;

Have had these files for awhile but I only just got around to uploading them~ I know I didn’t have have 2008 calendar…. but what happened to 2006/2007 I don’t know =o=; (maybe I gave them away?) Also 2003 is misisng a lot of images as I gave some of the pictures away too (loose calendar)
