Update: For the rest of the translated recipes check out pudding fair
So, to stop myself going insane (there’s only so many times you can read the word ‘クリーム’) I have divided the book up into 3 parts; well, 2 and a bit parts more like. Here’s the first part…..

Even though I have read it through so many times, the transcript for this first part is over 6000 words long, so if you spot any typos please tell me! It ended up taking a lot longer than I thought as I was away in London for a lot of weekends this month =u=
Some Notes!
- I have tried making a couple of recipes out of this now, and they all work, but I had some failures (so try not to repeat my mistakes)
For the 2-tier Strawberry shortcake:
- Don’t add too much honey (it will make it rubbery and dumpling like)
- Don’t over beat the flour when folding it in – it really only needs to be stirred in a little.
- DO whisk the egg whites and yolks separately. It says optional but I don’t think you can get enough air into it otherwise. The whites need to be like peaks, and should probably be added last.
The second part will cover up to the Custard Pudding, and should be ready in May September sometime.
This month’s Nakayoshi/Ribon raws will be a little bit sporadic and all over the place, as I’m trying to scan some tankouban at the same time.
Also, this month was the last chapter of Doki Doki! Tama-tan; volume 3 (the last volume) will come out at the end of the month. So I’ll probably do a post finishing up volume 2, and then a whole volume 3 post.
Hatsukoi Lunch box Post should be up by the end of the week, and if anyone is interested in cleaning (please ;_;) there will be a two week deadline this time~
Meruhen-chan chapter 7 should be out within the next two weeks, and I’m working on Heart’s Knight this week (in between scanning orz) And next month Meruhen-chan is taking a break in Nakayoshi~

Hi, I am Teresa,^^ I was wondering if I can share the “Yumeiro Patissiere Cook Book” at this website called ‘My Anime List”.Thanks for translating it for everyone thank you very much. Please give me and answer. you can email me at THTC-168@live.com. :3
@Teresa: Sure it’s fine! But please give editing and translation credits to cookie.Dough! Thanks!
thank you so much!! I’m so happy to have found the cook book and translated!
This is rather amazing, thanks so much for all the time and effort you must be putting in!
Thank you sooo much!
I can’t wait to make these. My little sis is crazy about this anime!
I don’t mean to sound ungrateful but I found a couple of mistakes on the pages I was looking at in detail.
On page 19(the one with the custard cream) on step 5, last sentence says;
‘Do this whilst heating it up gently on a medium heat again’
What does the word ‘whilst’ mean?
On page 21 (directions for the crepes) on step 1 & 2 it say to;
’1. Put the sieved flour, granulated sugar and salt into a bowl mix……
2. In another bowl put the milk and eggs. Add the flour, sugar, salt, and eggs from the other bowl……..’
Step 1 doesn’t coordinate with step 2.
That’s all! (that I see) Thank you so much, again!
@Serenity:
- May be a British English word but: http://www.thefreedictionary.com/whilst in Japanese it’s ‘~nagara’. I can’t explain it… but being English ‘whilst’ just sounds better to me.
- Yes I see I have repeated the eggs (Will fix when I translate part 2); it’s difficult because I have to completely change it from the Japanese and it gets confusing.
The Japanese hate repeating things, so they just tend to say ‘Put the stuff you made in ’1′ into ’2′ (not even that… they simplify it further) but when put into English it’s really confusing (Like ‘Use 1 and add to 2 and blend 3 to make 4, it really takes awhile to get used to Japanese cooking books) So it means ‘put the stuff you made from bowl 1 (the flour, sugar and salt) into the second bowl (with the milk and eggs)
THANK YOU SO MUCH for making this! I was working a couple of days on translating it myself for a project that I started a few days ago and then I stumbled upon your copy around 2am this morning!
I’m making a blog working through all of the recipes in the show, even the ones not mentioned in the cookbook and would REALLY LOVE to be able to credit you on it for the translations and scans for those recipes that I do use them in!
I just started it a couple of days ago and it is a work in progress but I’m putting all of my time… and eventually money, in to this, so please check it out and allow me to credit your name (either real or alias).
PS I just started, so it’s all rough content but you can see the overall intent and organizational layout. I would love feedback/help, or a proper scolding if you would rather I didn’t use your stuff.
@Nikki: I’m glad I could help! There is going to be another cook book released as well (just cakes) so I will probably translate that as well. I’ve been a bit slow translating and editing recently since I just moved to Japan, but I hope to pick things back up again when things quieten down here.
omg wow. i can’t wait for the angel and devil fruit roll cake to be translated.
just a question.. will you be translating the recipes from the manga.. they’re like in the back.. the place where i read the mangas that are translated decided to stop translating it so i’m a bit disappointed about that fact.
i hope you’re able to do that… =)
omgosh, thank you so much!!!! I’ve been laboring over translating everything. this is sooo much help! ^_^ thank you!
Dear Cookie!
If possible, could you add me to a list(or just me) with a small notice for when the next cooking book will be released/ translated.. Or when you expect it will be, so we can check around that time for our selfs.
I’ve recently started watching the amine, and im totally in love. Seeing as its almost all about cooking How could it have gone wrong :)
I would also like to say your help and work is very much appreciated (at least by me, and prob. most visitors here)
So THANKS!!
