So! For anyone that wants to help out, here are some zip files which each contain 5 pages of Hatsukoi Lunch Box chapter 1. I don’t know if anything like this has ever been done before =~= But let’s try make it work.
If you want to have a go at cleaning them, post a comment on this blog claiming pages you are cleaning. I will then take that link down. If everyone’s too busy then I guess I will just do it myself ^_^ But since some people wanted to try…
Some notes:
- Pages have already been rotated and cropped, so there’s no need to do that.
- If you’re not very good with the clone tool then it’s OK to leave those bits. I am more concerned about making sure the pages are really clean and text removed (so white parts really white with no speckling, and black parts really black with no speckling, zoom in really close to check)
- There’s no need to typeset anything as I’ll do that later when I go over the translation a few more times.
- You don’t need to resize or anything, just save the file as a psd file, and then re-upload on a file sharing site (any site is OK with me)
- As the release date is Sunday I need to have anything you’ve finished by Saturday please thank you~

@Himawari: The files are quite big since they are 300 res photoshop files for best quality. But obviously you only need to download one ^^:

Hmm, thanks for reuploading them! Tried doing pages 6-10 in a somewhat unserious way since I was just testing them out meaning this isn’t the final one yet but if it’s okay for you, please say so ^^ If not, I’ll re-do it on friday~ :D

All I did was cleaned and cloned some text. Somehow, when I saved them the file just amazingly got smaller XD even though I didn’t resize or change the dpi =.=’ Strange

@Rin: You just have to re-upload them onto a file sharing site. Though BlackBunny has already done those pages :c (If only I lived at my computer so I could update my blog throughout the day…) But if you are still interested I could post up 5 more pages for you? But obviously it’s wednesday now (and I worry since you’re at school and everything >_< )

@kirapika & BlackBunny: These are good to start with, but they just need to be further levelled to make completely black/white, with no grey areas.....
