Wah~ Been so busy these last couple of weeks! But here is the summary for Doki Doki! Tama-tan Chapter 8… raws will come later!

The first page begins with Yoi saying that at last he’s come back, he has wanted to meet the Lunar Lady (Tama-tan) again.

It switches to Akane-kun who is recording the new ‘Evolutions’ on the Selenia cards. Both Nonnon, Miharu-chan and Tama-tan now have the ‘Feelings’ card. This is still a little confusing…. since they were originally only given a card each, but maybe it’s a new card for each Evolution.
Hyuuga-sensei says they should have a party to celebrate everyone’s hard work. Akane-kun suggests it should be on his ship, and that he will host the entertainment….

Tama-tan hopes that she can use the party to become good friends with Akane-kun, but then Miharu interrupts claiming that she will be the most stylish one at the party and can use that as part of her method to get Akane-kun.
Tama-tan wants to be super stylish too, but worries she can’t win over Miharu-chan. Nonnon tells Tama-tan to hold herself together, but thinks that they really need Nya-chan for this kind of thing. Unfortunately Nya-chan is working, and will be at the party after she’s finished work.

Nonnon says to Tama-tan that she’ll help her after school, and together they’ll work on her outfit. At Nonnon’s house it’s not going too well…

Nonnon admits she doesn’t have much girlie stuff (and neither does Tama-tan) but they do some more reading and eventually they make Tama-tan’s outfit cute. Before Tama-tan leaves Nonnon tells Tama-tan that even if she looks cute, it will be ruined if she doesn’t have confidence in herself. With a renewed sense of purpose, Tama-tan leaves to go home before the party.

She is then unexpectedly beamed up into a spaceship; it’s Yoi, dressed in full evening gear (which Tama-tan thinks makes him look like a lounge singer) Yoi tells Tama-tan that he has wanted to see her, and has been studying up on the clothes of Earth. Tama-tan wonders if Yoi-oniisan’s personality has anything to do with the Love Magic she performed before.

Yoi tells Tama-tan that he has been lonely all summer, but now that person is out of his way, he can meet her again. After much serenading and calling Tama-tan his beloved Lunar Lady, he finally asks Tama-tan… what is her name by the way? Tama-tan tells him her name and Yoi begins to show Tama-tan the entertainment he has planned for this evening.

First is an alien horror film (Yoi had a movie theater bilt specially), and then a fancy meal. Tama-tan is worried she’ll be late for the party, and also about the effects of Love Magic on Yoi. He asks he what’s wrong, and Tama-tan finally tells him she can’t not go to Akane-kun’s party. Yoi is shocked.

At Akane’s party, Miharu is, unashamedly, flirting with Akane and Nonnon is wondering where Tama-tan is. Akane-kun asks Hyuuga-sensei if he was contacted by Tama-tan about not attending, to which Hyuuga-sensei replies no. Akane-kun has a suspicion it’s his brother, and asks Hyuuga-sensei to start an investigation. Akane-kun too doesn’t know how far Tama-tan’s Love Magic can go.

Tama-tan wonders what she should do, and thinks all that is happening is because of Love Magic. But she doesn’t want to tell Yoi that these feelings ar only caused by magic, as it will make him sad.

Poor Yoi (ToT)

Yoi asks why Akane is again snatching away his things, and wonders why he is always alone. Tama-tan wonders what she should do, as Yoi asks Tama-tan not to leave him alone again.

The chapter ends with Akane-kun rushing to find Tama-tan.

Raws will be up soon! But next weekend (should) be the release of Jigoku Shoujo “R” chapter 2, and hopefully Momo chapter 14 raws, Heart no Diamond chapter 2 raws as well. I’m also thinking about translating the new Nakayoshi manga, Meruhen-chan when it comes out, since the artwork looks really good from the preview image *3*
