Doki Doki Tama-tan Chapter 4 Tama-tan Chapter 4! With this summary it brings us up to date with the chapters in Japan~ Unfortunately there was no colour page this month!

Raws are available: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=P8MOWCXO

The chapter starts with Akane-kun approaching Tama-tan as… she wanted to speak to him about something. Of course what Tama-tan wants to ask is whether Akane-kun is BunnyEars-kun from 7 years ago, but because Akane-kun has asked her so suddenly she just ends up telling him his clothes looks super ★different. Akane-kun seems a bit put out by this.

In the Lunar Lady class today then Akane-kun tells them that they will be learning about the ecology of the Moon Gods. He states that it is important that the Moon Gods always live with the Lunar Ladies, as the Moon Gods grow by absorbing the experiences of the Lunar Lady. Because of that, it’s important to think about what kind of image you have an how this will reflect on the Moon Gods: even though they all look similar now, in time they will develop their own distinct looks because of the personality of the Lunar Lady.

Nonnon wants her Moon God to be cool, Nya-chan wants her Moon God to be cute, and Miharu wants her Moon God to be…. a little sexy devil :’D :’D For real. When it comes to Tama-tan’s turn she’s not really sure what she wants her Moon God to be and hesitates, Akane-kun tells her she must decide firmly first, and then they take a recess.

During the break Akane-kun asks Tama-tan if he can meet her after school, and Tama-tan is certain he’s asking her out on a date.

At home Tama-tan is trying to decide what to wear, and finally decides on a dress her Papa brought her last Sunday (so he is still around) as Tama-tan finishes up a UFO lands on her roof (again) and it’s Akane-kun.

Akane-kun has turned up wearing the boys uniform from Tama-tan’s school, and wants to know Tama-tan’s opinion as it would be embarrassing to be seen by another Moon Person.

He has also come to give Tama-tan a warning about a person, the person being his brother. But, at the word ‘brother’, Tama-tan stops listening and tells Akane-kun how nice it must be to have a brother; since she has no Mama or siblings, she thinks it must be nice to have a big family. With this she decides that he image for Hapy will be that he/she/it can become part of Tama-tan’s family, like a sibling. At this point it seems that Tama-tan has completely forgotten about the fact that Akane-kun was warning her about his brother.

As Akane-kun leaves Tama-tan tells him the clothes look very fitting on him, and that he looks super ★moe moe :’D To which Akane-kun, in super moe moe style, tells Tama-tan her clothes look nice on her too. Leaving her super happy that she got a compliment from Akane-kun.

As Tama-tan is going to school the next day, she meets Akane’s brother at the entrance, he introduces himself as Tsukiyoino Miko. He tells Tama-tan that Akane-kun has asked him to take Tama-tan’s Moon God for a little while. Tama-tan reluctantly hands Hapy over, as she believes Akane-kun asked for it. Yoi leaves with Tama-tan’s Moon God.

In class Akane-kun asks Tama-tan where her Moon God is, and she replies that she gave it to a boy with black bunny ears, as he was Akane-kun’s brother.

Akane-kun then rushes out of the class, with Tama-tan behind. Akane tells Tama-tan that his brother is his enemy, and may even try to kill the Moon Gods in order to get in his way. The chapter ends with Tama-tan following Akane-kun, hoping her Moon God is safe.

Doki Doki Tama-tan Chapter 3

The third chapter of DokiDoki! Tama-tan starts out with Tama-tan in her house talking about how Nonnon and Nya-chan left comments on Tama-tan’s Lunar Lady blog, all three of them wonder if Akane-kun really is Tama-tan’s BunnyEars-kun from 7 years ago.

Tama-tan’s happy spell turns sour when she receives a nasty comment from Miharu-chan, who accuses Tama-tan of trying to stand in the way between her and Akane-kun. Miharu tells Tama-tan that Akane-kun would never fall for a girl like Tama-tan, and that she should just give up.

Tama-tan is worried about being pitted against the school’s number one devil, and burns the onabe that night, having to stay up and clean the kitchen.

On the way to school she meets Akane-kun, and casually asks him what type of girl he likes. Akane-kun harshly replies he has no interest in girls from Earth, leaving Tama-tan shocked.

When she arrives at class they are told today is the naming of the Moon Gods, however Tama-tan has completely forgotten about it. Akane-kun gets angry as, on top of being late, Tama-tan has forgotten the important task of naming her Moon God. He leaves in an angry huff saying he’s going back to his ship for today :’D Miharu follows, saying she will apologise on Tama-tan’s behalf.

Nonnon explains to Hyuuga-sensei that Tama-tan has to take care of all the housework by herself, and that Miharu left the horrible comment, which is why she forgot to name her Moon God. Nya-chan then turns up; she’s being working all morning which is why she’s late. Tama-tan feels bad as everyone else is busy too, but it’s only her who forgot the task.

Nya-chan then reveals that she too hasn’t named her Moon God, to which Nonnon suggests that they all think of names for their Moon Gods together.

Back to Akane-kun, who meets another Moon Person with black bunny ears, we learn that he is Akane-kun’s older brother. He tells Akane-kun that as a member of the Sadaijin household he has been sent to Earth on a mission from their father. This ‘Sadaijin’ was a kind of official in the Nara and Heian periods, but it’s also worth noting that even though he’s the older brother, Akane-kun is still first in line to the throne.

He tells Akane-kun that maybe the Lunar Ladies are afraid of him because of his cold outward appearance, and that it would be problematic if he can’t get the Lunar Ladies to co-operate. He leaves Akane-kun, telling him to do his best, as much as he can.

Tama-tan then finds Akane-kun apologising for her thoughtlessness, and claims that now she has a name for her Moon God. Akane-kun apologises for his abrupt manner before, and says there is a special place in his heart for Earth girls.

With this, the naming ceremony begins. Nonnon is naming her Moon God Fuuma after her ninja household. Nya-chan is calling her Moon God, Soiree [soware], as she made her debut at a Lady’s Soiree. Tama-tan calls her Moon God Hapy, because she wants to share the happy feels she has with everyone.

They all transform into their hidden forms, and the names of the Moon Gods are etched onto white cards. Akane-kun explains that this transform is the Evolution, and through many evolutions they can become the Moon Princess (I think that’s how it works)

The chapter ends with Akane-kun wondering what his brother’s objections on Earth are.

It sure was a long chapter just for naming a Moon God~ But we get to meet Akane-kun’s brother, who will play an important part in the next chapter :D

Doki Doki Tama-tan Chapter

So here’s the summary for the next chapter of DokiDoki! Tama-tan. In this chapter we get to see Tama-tan’s henshin outfit, which is a little different from the one originally designed by Koge Donbo* (there was  a watch around Tama-tan’s neck) If you want to see the raws, you can download them here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=91VY8T1H.

Chapter 2 of DokiDoki Tama-tan begins to look at the Lunar Lady class and the special powers of the Lunar Ladies~ Tama-tan thinks about asking Akane-kun if he is the same boy she met 7 years ago, but because of his abrupt manner decides not to.

In the class, Akane-kun gives the girls cellphones with special straps, with which they will keep a blog in order to record what has been happening in the lives of the Lunar Ladies. To be honest I’m not sure if this will be a significant plot point, or if it links it back to the fact that Tama-tan started out as a kind of blog feature. Anyway.

Tama-tan is about to say she doesn’t have any kind of power, when suddenly her friends reveal their own hidden powers. Nonnon is first inline to the ninja household Fuma; Nya-chan is actually the idol Elle-chan; Miharu is a descendant from the angel Michael. They all (Except Miharu) apologise to Tama-tan for keeping it a secret. The straps on the cellphones the girls were given are now glowing, which Akane asserts as proof they are the Lunar Ladies. Also, the eyes on their Moon Gods open up. However for Tama-tan nothing happened.

Akane is updating an official (Again, not sure who he actually is) with… Hyuuga-sensei?? This is confusing, because his name is Hyuuga, and he does look like Hyuuga-sensei… but when did Tama-tan’s teacher join the military? Since he was teaching before Akane-kun came to Tama-tan’s school it’s a little confusing. Akane-kun implies that Tama-tan is falling behind in class, and will go visit her personally to check up on her.

At home Tama-tan is feeling down about what happened that day, when a UFO lands on her apartment rooftop; it’s Akane-kun. Tama-tan tells Akane-kun about how she shouldn’t have been elected as a Lunar Lady, and Akane replies that if she feels this way she should just quit. However, since she was chosen as a Lunar Lady through her own power, she should believe in herself more.

Akane-kun has come though to ask Tama-tan about the phone strap/charm she owns. The ring (on the strap) she tells was given to her by her Papa: who, in the flashback, looks like Nishikiori from Kamichama Karin. Tama-tan tells Akane that it has the power of love, and that together with the phone strap, is Tama-tan’s charm.

As he’s leaving, Tama-tan asks Akane-kun if he visited Earth seven years ago. Akane-kun replies that he has forgotten (in a super dramatic double page spread :’D)

The next day at school Tama-tan has to try and reveal her hidden power too, she reminds herself to believe in the Magic of Love; Tama-tan then transforms into her bunny girl costume, and her Moon God’s eyes open. So we now know Tama-tan’s hidden power, and it has something to do with Love Magic :’D

Akane-kun tells the Lunar Ladies the next task is to name your Moon God, and understand how the power of the Lunar Ladies’ works.

At the very end of the chapter, Hyuuga-sensei takes the register, and we find that Tama-tan’s name is Nishikiori Tamae.

DokiDoki Tama-tan Chapter 01
Koge Donbo’s new manga, DokiDoki Tama-tan, premiered in February’s Nakayoshi.

If you didn’t like Kamichama Karin, then don’t even bother with Tama-tan: the storyline is quite frankly even more outlandish and ridiculous.

However it is super ★ cute and has Koge Donbo’s sense of humour all over it. This summary is probably going to be super ★ long, as the first chapter was 50 pages and had quite a lot of plot packed into it.

Proper scanlations will be up (syuura is working on them c: ) but until they’re released I present to you the raws and what’s happening during chapter 1~

If you don’t want to know what happens in the story, then don’t read any further xD xD

The story starts with a flashback, Tama-tan is being given a strange charm by a boy with bunny ears, who promises to come back one day. Fast forward seven years later and we meet Tama-tan, and her two classmates Nya-chan and Nonnon. They’re discussing the famous idol Elle-chan when out of nowhere, a flying saucer appears and Tama-tan briefly sees in the window of the ship a boy with bunny ears. She runs off to where the UFO has landed, leaving Nya-chan and Nonnon behind.

Peeping through the bushes, Tama-tan sees the boy with bunny ears talking to a ball-shaped creature on his shoulder (Called a Moon God) the boy – Akane -   has come to Earth to find the Moon Princess. Tama-tan is shocked because he looks just liked her BunnyEars-kun from seven years ago. The boy goes back into his space ship, and Tama-tan is overjoyed as she believes her BunnyEars-kun has come back to fulfill his promise.

So that the plot makes some kind of sense in relation to reality, we then see Akane-kun talking to (whom I think is) the principal of Tama-tan’s school, informing him that he should have been contacted by NASA; the situation is urgent and he must find the the Moon Princess by first finding the Moon Princess candidates – the Lunar Ladies.

The next day at school Tama-tan is telling Nonnon and Nya-chan about how her love has come back to her, when she is rudely interrupted by Miharu-chan, whom Nonnon calls a ‘ぶりっ子’ meaning in this context a girl who is cute with the boys but mean to the girls.

The class begins and Hyuuga-sensei, in a rather blunt fashion, introduces ‘The alien Tsukiakaneno Miko from the Moon!’ and it’s Akane from before. For Tama-tan, things go downhill from here.

She blurts out ‘BunnyEars-kun’ which Akane finds very offensive, and after much misunderstanding, Akane-kun reveals 3 Moon Gods. The Moon Gods will choose the Lunar Ladies from the girls in Tama-tan’s class, who in turn could be the Moon Princess. They will find the Moon Princess through a… process… called ‘Evolution’ in which the chosen Lunar Ladies will raise the Moon Gods and reveal their powers.

However, in order to see if they will be chosen by the Moon Gods, they first must go through a (lol magical) door and answer a question. When it’s Tama-tan’s turn to go through she doesn’t hear her question, as it gets cut off by a loud noise. She appears back in the classroom, upset that she can’t share her experience with the other girls in the class, who all heard and answered their questions.

When the time comes for the three Moon Gods to select the Lunar Ladies; Tama-tan is not chosen, instead her two best friends Nya-chan and Nonnon are chosen, as well as Miharu-chan. To start with Tama-tan feels dejected, but in true mahoushoujo style she cheers her friends on and is happy for them. But she soon finds out that because her friends were chosen as Lunar Ladies, it means she can no longer speak with them and they will be moved the a special Lunar Lady class.

She becomes sad again, but her tears cause the charm/strap to glow, and from this another Moon God appears, making Tama-tan the fourth Lunar Lady, and she can now join her friends in the special Lunar Lady class.

Wow! That was a lot =_=; The premise of ‘Evolution’ is slightly confusing, but it basically means that they have to raise the strange odango-like blobs; as the story goes on more about the ‘Evolution’ process is reveal. At the moment this is the main part of the story; raising the Moon Gods through the ‘Evolution’.

Also, the strap that Tama-tan has also has a ring which looks suspiciously like the one Karin has in Kamichama Karin, as the plot progresses there will be more KCK crossovers as well x3
